AFOB Regional Symposium in Malaysia (FEB 9-11, 2014)

Dear AFOB members,

 

As we discussed at the last AFOB Delegate Meeting, the 5th AFOB Regional Symposium will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, February 9-11, 2014.

 

ARS 2014 is being organized by Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia (BioTech, UPM), supported from Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB) (www.afob.org). With the theme of Biotechnology for Sustainability, ARS 2014 is aimed to present current research carried out in the broad area of biotechnology for future sustainability. The idea of the symposium is for the scientists, academia and students from the universities and the industries all around the world to present ongoing research activities, exchange new ideas and experiences to sustain our world through biotechnology. This symposium also provides a platform for the delegates to establish collaborative research programmes, hence encourage research relations between the universities, industries and government.
